Shillong, Sept 02: Meghalaya Education Minister Mr Lahkmen Rymbui said as per instruction issued from the Ministry Home Affair that all school should be closed till 30th September 2020, but to conduct examination was allowed from 01st August 2020 that why examination for JEE and NEE were allowed to hold this examination.
The Education minister said that from 21st Sept 2020 Home Ministry has allowed teachers to go to school and the students if they want to get information from school, to get Notes or assignment or to submit assignment they have disuses in the meeting today.
The Education Minister said that there are many school, like SSLC and HSLC has been converted as Corona Care centre and quarantine centre, in the meeting where all the eleven Deputy Commissioner in the state, in the meeting have taken the decision that they should vacate by 15th September 2020 from all thus educational centre.
In the meeting they have also decided that from 21st September 2020 the Government will decide on the syllabus will take in this year and how will the examination pattern they will take and the teachers will be able to know about the syllabus after this only.
After the Government has taken the decision then they will come to know how to prepare from the examination of class X and XII and for Class IX and XI they should visit their institution and after that they will take the decision.
The education department has prepare and the education department will take the decision to reduce the syllabus by 25% or 30% this will be inform on or before the 21st September 2020 so that the teacher will be able to inform that students, if the school open the teachers can teach the students base on the syllabus prepare from the Government.
