Shillong, March 27: The Chairman, Meghalaya State Planning Board and MLA/MDC of Nongkrem Constituency, Shri. Lambor Malngiang inaugurating the office of the Seng Kynthei Laitkor Pyllun at Laitkor, Shillong in the presence of Paiem Ainam Manik Syiem, Acting Syiem Hima Mylliem who graced the programme as the Guest of Honour on March 27, 2021.
The office building was constructed under the MDC Excluded Areas scheme 2019-2020 at an amount of Rs. 3,00,000/-.
It is hoped that with the inauguration of the new office the activities and intiatives of the Seng Khynthie aimed at addressing the problems faced by women and also uplifiting their soci-economic conditons will be given a huge fillip.
Also present on the occasion was Smti. Theilin Phanbuh, President Lympung ki Seng Kynthei and adviser Seng Kynthei Laitkor Pyllun, President, office bearers and members of Seng Kynthei Laitkor Pyllun, representatives of the Dorbar Shnong members of Self Help Groups and Seng Samla.
