Shillong, June 01: Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister Mr Prestone Tynsong said that the Government will decide on the reopening of religious worship place will take the decision within this week in the next review meeting.
The Deputy Chief Minister in the review meeting that was held today they have discussed on the issued but since the Chief Minister was on tour to Garo Hills District, they will again discuses within this week when the Chief Minister is present.
On the issue raised by the social organisation on the decision taken by the state government to allowed highly technical person to come to the state for specific work, this show that they also have the same concern like the state have on the COVID-19.
The Deputy Chief Minister clarified that the government has taken this decision for requisition of highly technical person where the state do not have this expertise. If they come also they have to follow all the protocol put in place by the government.
The Deputy Chief Minister urged the youth to take up such courses in their study so that the state will have its own man power in the future so that they will not depend on the people from outside the state.
