Police arrested 4 GNLA cadres from Dhubri District Assam

Tura,July 01: Four hardcore GNLA cadres were held today in Dhubri district of Assam.
The cadres were apprehended by Assam police, BSF and CRPF on suspicion
at Jumati ghat in Dhubri. Police say that they were travelling by a
boat from Phulbari ghat in West Garo Hills, when the security forces
arrested them.
Phulbari is a small town, about 100 km from Tura.
The four have been identified as Rostom Marak, Tengnit Arengh, Tobin
Marak and Legsend Momin. The arrest was led by Debasish Borah,
assistant superintendent of police, Dhubri.
Huge cache of arms and ammunition were recovered from the militants,
which included AKs and live ammunition.(SP News)
