Shillong, Feb 28: The three regional parties, the HSPDP, UDP and KHNAM today met and from the alliance All Regional Parties Alliance (ARPA). In the meeting they have unanimously elect Mr Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit of the HSPDP as their leader to be the new Chief Executive Members in the KHADC.
In the meeting they have also elect the Deputy leader Mr Teinwell Dkhar of the UDP who will be the Deputy CEM in the executive Committee. Mr Latiplang Kharkongor from KHNAM is elected as Secretary of the ARPA. In the power sharing in the KHADC, the Chairman will be from the UDP.
In the ARPA the HSPDP who has 7 MDC will lead the Executive Committee with the support of the UDP with 6 MDC and the KHNAM with 4 MDC. These three parties has cross the requisite numbers of 16 in the house of 30to form the executive committee.(SP News)
