Shillong, July 12: I-League outfit from Meghalaya, Shillong Lajong FC kicked off it’s pre-season campaign in Shillong today in Polo Ground.
On their first day, Lajong kicked started their pre-season program with a light training session under the watchful eyes of Head coach Thangboi Singto. The players looked very sharp, energetic and focused after coming from a month and a half break.
The Lajong youthful squad are all set to welcome the new football season with full commitment and determination. The Reds will also concentrate on their first major tournament after the break that is the Shillong Premier League Super Division. Although, the kick off date is yet to be announced, Lajong who won the championship for two consecutive years that is 2014 and 2015, will look to go all out to defend the title once again.
