Shillong, April 19: Meghalaya Education Minister Mr Lahkmen Rymbui in reply to the question put by the MLA from Shillong West Mr Mohendro Rapsang inform the house that in the Shillong West Constituency there are only two government School, Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Shillong and the Mohan Massar Government Upper Primary School.
The Education minister further inform the house that, the Government Boys Higher Secondary Scholl had an enrolment of 742 students and the teachers appointed in this school are 42 in numbers and Mohan Massar Government Upper Primary School had an enrolment of 65 students only and the teachers are 12 in numbers.
On reply to supplementary question on the Mohan Massar Government Upper Primary School, the minister inform that house that one organization Shillong Round Tables Conference has come out to volunteers to build the School building, so that the intake capacity will increased in the school. The School was started in 1955.
