Shillong, December 07: Mr Munna Kumar Ray of Bishop Cotton Road, Shillong lodged a complaint with the police that on 02rd December in the morning , one Smt. Dhanma Devi approached his wife Smt. Babita Devi to deposit an amount of Rs. 2 lakhs old currency notes of Rs. 1000/- and Rs. 500/- denomination.
Mr Kumar in his complaint said that when his wife smti Batiba refused the request then smti Dhanma started to abused his wife with filthy languages and on the 03th December smti Dhanma along with her husband Mr Ramanand Ray and four daughters assaulted the his wife causing injuries to her and was admitted at Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong for treatment.
