Shillong, August 17: Smti Deiwi Tongper President,Saindur Tipkur Tipkha Ieng Ehrngiew Khun Hynniewtrep (STIEH) Shillong file an First Information Report with the Officer In Charge, Sardar Police Station Meghalaya, Shillong on the hate speech and terror allegations post made by one Megha Purkayastha in social media Via Instagram.
In the FIR Smti Tongper mention that the statement could potentially cause more unrest to the already volatile situation in the city and may also pose a threat and danger to life to students and citizens from the North-East ,residing in other parts of the country, this will hamper any peace building process to calm the situation.
In the FIR Smti Tongper has also attached the statement made by by one Megha Purkayastha in social media Via Instagram, the FIR was also sent the copy to the Chief Ministr of Meghalaya. The president of the organsation requested to take the necessary action at the earliest to avoid any untoward incidents.
