Shillong, June 26: The superintendent of police East Khasi Hills District Mr. Sylvester Nongtnger, IPS inform on 08.02.2011, an accused namely Smti. Grace Khaute of Demthring, Block-ll, Shillong was arrested in connection with Madanrting PS Case No. l0(2)2011 U/S 21 NDPS Act and seized 2.90 grams of heroin from her possession.
The case was investigated by then SI Simseng A. Sangma who chargesheeted the case on 09.10.2012. On 24.06.2021, the Court of Sari Noor-Ain Khan, Hon’blc SpeciaI Judge (NDPS), found the accused guilty for the offence Under Section 21(a) of NDPS Act and stands convicted.
