Shillong, Nov 15: The Students Community of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) still continued with their hunger strike agitation which enter the ten day today, the agiatation will continued till the Ministry of Education Government of India remove the present Vice Chancellor Pro. Prabha Shankar Shukla.
The student’s community they will accept Prof. Nirmalendu Saha if appointed as acting Vice Chancellor of NEHU, the said Professor has been teaching in the University for the last 37 years and was well acquainted with the function of the university.
The Ministry of Education Government of India has already constituted two men inquiry committee to inquired on the specific allegation against the present VC of NEHU, the Ministry of Education has allowed 15 days to complete the inquiry and submit the report along with the recommendation.
