Shillong, October 18: The 101 Area Provost Unit has been in existence for 58 years since 01 April 1965. All personnel including all families celebrated the 78th Raising Day of the Corps of Military Police which falls on 18 October every year with a resounding reaffirmation of their commitment to the Corps motto of “Seva Tatha Sahayta”.
The Raising Day celebrations were spread over three days and included an excursion to “Elephant Falls”, Barakhana, Special Family Welfare Meet and a ceremonial Sainik Sammellan.
To share the happiness of the event with our specially abled children, post the Special Family Welfare Meet, a visit by the ladies of the unit was conducted to Asha School, Shillong wherein specially curated gift hampers were presented to all inmates of the School.
