Shillong, May 16: The Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) had rescued Dajied Syiemlieh from the hand of the kidnaper on Monday evning from Bangladesh under Sherpur Police Station.
Mr Dajied JCB helper was kidnap from Umsur on the 27th April 2017 by arms miscreant and then taken to Bangladesh since the International Border is porous where miscreant could infiltrate easily to Indian soil or they can ex-filtrate.
Sources said that the kidnaper when they saw the BGB, the abandoned Mr Dajied Syiem and fled away, sources said that at present Mr Dajied is under the custody of the police of the Bangladesh Government kept at Sherpur Police station.
Speaking to SP News Agency the Superintendent of Police of South West Khasi Hills District Mr HG Lyngdoh confiem that “Mr Dajied Syiem Syiemlieh of Unthied Bynther Village from West Khasi Hills was rescued in Bangladesh at present he is in under Sherpur police station, the legal formalities still conducted from the Bangladesh authority.
