Shillong, March 16: The 100 Battlion of the BSF Meghalaya participated in the celebration of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav” organized by Central Bureau of Communication by presenting a weapon and photo exhibition programme at district library Auditorium, Ringre, Tura. Mr. Swapnil Tembe, DC West Garo Hills inaugurated the programme.
In the programme BSF displayed various hi tech weapons used by the force to safe guard the nation. A large number of locals and students of Tura attended the exhibition.
During exhibition, the students exhibited lot of enthusiasm and curiosity to gain information about the arsenals of BSF. The event was highly appreciated by the people of the area.
