ShilIong, March 21: The Meghalaya Additional Chief Secretary, Mr. B K Dev Vema released the Video CD under the Systemic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme, 2014 at the Conference Hall, State Secretariat Shillong.
The Video CD was produced by Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Mr. P Naik in collaboration with the Shillong Chamber Choir. During the programme, Mr. B K Dev Verma remarked that this CD would create awareness among the people especially the especially newly enrolled voters about the importance of voting during elections.
This would perhaps enhance greater participation for a stronger democracy, headded. Moreover, music is one of the most important aspect through which messagesOcould be spread-out to people across the state, said Mr. Verma.(SP News)
