Shillong, March 12: The speculation who will get the Congress ticket from 1-Shillong parliamentary seat end today evening when the AICC gave the ticket to the sitting MP Mr Vincent H Pala to contest from the 1-Shillong Parliamentary seat.
Forest minister Prestone Tynsong speaking to SP News Agency said that, the ticket from Shillong parliamentary seat was given to the sitting MP Mr Vincent, but the notification from the party is yet to come.
The fight for the ticket was thought as their two main contender for the congress ticket from 1-Shillong parliamentary seat, The MLA from Mylliem R V Lyngdoh but after taking the public view the AICC has taken to decision to give to the sitting MP Mr Vincent.
From 2-Tura Parliamentary seat, thought the name of Zenith Sangma brother of the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma was included in the first list, the Congress has to change the name and give it to Daryl William Cheran Momin.(SP News)
