Shillong, June 27: The Director, Employment and Craftsmen Training, Shillong has alerted all the unemployed youth of the State not to respond to any email with job offers without first ascertaining the genuineness of the employer.
This advisory is issued in view of the report received from an unemployed youth about a job scam that was carried out in the name of National Career Service (NCS).
Wherein an e-mail is sent to the candidate with a job offer and requesting the candidate to accept a kit containing the job offer letter and joining letter. However, on payment of Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand), the kit was found to contain nothing as mentioned.
