Shillong, The Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to adopt CBSE Syllabus and NCERT Textbooks for Classes XI and XII in Arts Stream for the subjects as mentioned below.
The new textbook syllabi shall be implemented from the forth coming academic year, 2024 – 2025.
The ten subject that have to adopt CBSE Syllabus anf NCERT textbooks are, 1. English Core, 2. English Elective, 3. Geography, 4. History, 5. Home Science, 6. Computer Science, 7. Informatics Practices, 8. Political Science, 9. Psychology and 10.Sociology .
The other remaining subjects will follow the existing Syllabus and Textbooks recommended by the Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE). The noticfation from the education Departmen sign by Mr. S.M.A. Razi, IRTS Commissioner and Secretary to the Govt. of Meghalaya Education Department.
