The MCCEU urged the Chief Minister to released the sallary as agreed in the meeting

Shillong, June 16: The Mawmluh Cherra Cements Employee union, today has written to  the Chief Minister Government of Meghalaya Shillong requesting for release of salaries.

Mr. Shanlang Diengdoh president of the organization and Mr Pynskhem Lyngdoh in the letter said that on behalf of the Mawmluh Cherra Cements employee union, they urged the Chief Minister to kindly release the pending salaries as had been virtually and mutually agreed between in the meeting with the Union on the 10 December 2020.

The non payment of the above pending salaries has affected the present and future condition of the employees whether financially or otherwise, especially to the present situation with the Covid-19 lockdown.

The Union urge the office to expidite the process of early running of the plant, so that the financial condition of the employees will be stabilize. The delaying in payment will further agitate the employees and they will force us to take a strong course of action, said in the press statement.
