Shillong, March 11: The District Lower Level Selection Trial Camp for Judo organized by Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs along with Meghalaya Judo Association (MJA) for selection of Judokas to be taken part at the North East Games 2014 will be held on the 12th March, 14th March and 15 March respectively for Jowai, Shillong and Ri Bhoi.

MJA is happy to announce that the Free Demonstration cum Coaching Camp of Judo in Mawkyrwat (South West Khasi Hills) ended recently organised by District Sports Officer along with MJA and Judo Coach from SAI STC Centre Shillong under the auspices of Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Meghalaya.
Same camp will be held from 18th March 2014 at Nongstoin HQ of West Khasi Hills District. All schools, colleges and youngsters who want to take up Judo can contact District Sports Officer Nongstoin during office hour. It is worth-mentioning here that North East Sports Festival was changed to North East Games under the initiative of MJA in 2008.(SP News)
