Shillong, March 07: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan,Meghalaya Zone is organizing a five days NATIONAL YOUTH CORPS VOLUNTEERS REFRESHER TRAINING programme in Bharat Scout & Guide complex,Shillong from 4th to 8th March 2014.
NYC volunteers from all the NYK District of Meghalaya Zone are participating in this training programme. Shri RPS THAKUR,Zonal Director,NYKS,Meghalaya Zone apprised that these volunteers are working in the field and motivating Youth clubs/Seng Samla to take active part in the developmental activities for the last one year.
These NYC volunteers are playing a role of Social change agent. In refresher training they are equipped with various developmental schemes of skill development education and health and livelihood programme. Training programme will continue up to 8th March 2014.(SP News)
