Shillong, July 31: This is to inform all students of the first semester of BA, BSc, BCA that owning to the ongoing confusion about the implementation of NEP-2020 in Meghalaya, commencement of classes is herby temporally suspended for some days till further notice. Classes of all others semester will continued as usual without disruption, said Dr. D.K.B Mukhim Principal Lady Keane College Shillong in the press statement.
The Meghalaya College Teachers Association earlier has announced that they will boycott taking classes on the 1st August 2023 as a mark to protest the implementation of the NEF-2020 by the V.C of NEHU. The academic year will begin tomorrow for all the colleges affiliated to NEHU.
