Shillong, March 11: The United Democratic Party (UDP) in the central executive committee meeting held today at the residence of the president has decided to put up three time MLA Paul Lyngdoh as MP Candidate from 1-Shillong Parliamentary Seat.
The spoke person of the UDP Mr AF Dkhar told SP News Agency that the UDP party has decided to contest this coming MP election and Mr Pual Lyngdoh will be their candidate these was decided in the CEC of the party.
Mr Dkhar appeal to others regional party like KHNAM and the HSPDP to support their candidate in these coming MP Election that is due on the 9th of April Next month. The UDP will also appeal to others party to come forwards to support their candidate.
The UDP has already made their appeal to KHNAM and HSPDP earlier also but the respond from the others two regional parties they want either former Deputy Chief Minister of Dr Jemino Mwathoh. (SP News)
