Shillong, April 26: The Joint forum of BSNL Executives association is forced to go for agitation due to demotion of pay scale in a cadre of JTO,JAO,SDE and AO by Department of Telecom (DOT) and inordinate delay in formulation of BSNL HR Policy after four year of talks with TOP Level Management.
The North East 1 circle under banner SANCHAR NIGAM EXECUTIVE ASSOCIATION (SNEA) are on the hunger strike for three day starting on 25th and they will conclude tomorrow and they will take mass C.L on 28.04.2017 where almost BSNL Executive are participating at our circle office near IGP point .
The hearbeat of department declared by consultant M/s KPMG are forced to go for this agitation due to mere assurance from last four year from their CMD and DIR HR and Secretary DOT .The pay scale in basic cadres are demoted and promotions are stopped till D.E level and till date no concrete steps are taken to address the cause leads to dissatifaction to grass root level Engineers of department .
From the BSNLEA urged the esteemed customers to bear with the association and support them in this agitation. The services will not affect as it is relay hunger strike.
