Maligaon, Jan 28: Keeping in the view of improvement in train operation, the timings of some mail express trains have been revised at few stations over N.F. Railway from the month of February, 2023.
Further, some trains have been speeded up to reduce the journey time. Under the jurisdiction of N.F. Railway, journey times of as many as 7 trains have been reduced ranging from 5 minutes to 60 minutes.
Accordingly, timings of train No. 15959 (Howrah – Dibrugarh) Kamrup Express have been revised at Lumding, Diphu, Dimapur, Sarupathar, Barpathar, Furkating Jn., Mariani Jn., Amguri, Simaluguri Jn., Bhojo, Namrup, Naharkatiya, Duliajan, New Tinsukia and Dibrugarh stations w.e.f. 01.02.2023. The train will arrive at its destination Dibrugarh at 04:00 hours, to save its journey time by 15 minutes.
Timings of Train No. 15910 (Lalgarh – Dibrugarh) Avadh Assam Express have been revised at Furkating Jn., Mariani Jn., Simaluguri Jn., Bhojo, New Tinsukia and Dibrugarh stations w.e.f. 01.02.2023. The train will arrive at destination Dibrugarh at 14:05 hours to save its journey time by 30 minutes.
Timings of train No. 13141 (Sealdah – New Alipurduar) Teesta Torsa Express have been revised at Aluabari Road, New Jalpaiguri, Jalpaiguri Road, New Maynaguri, Dhupguri, Falakata, Ghoksadanga, New Coochbehar and New Alipurduar stations w.e.f. 01.02.2023.
The train will arrive at destination New Alipurduar at 05:35 hours and will save its journey time by 01 hour. Timings of Train No. 15934 (Amritsar – New Tinsukia Express) have been revised at Lumding, Diphu, Dimapur, Furkating Jn., Mariani Jn., Simaluguri Jn. and New Tinsukia stations w.e.f. 03.02.2023. The train will arrive at destination New Tinsukia at 03:00 hours reducing its journey time by 35 minutes.
Timing of train No. 15902 (Tinsukia – Lumding Express) has been revised at Lumding station w.e.f. 01.02.2023. The train will arrive at destination Lumding at 19:00 hours to reduce its journey by 05 minutes. Timing of train No. 15813 (Dekargaon – Murkongselek Express) has been revised at Murkongselek station.
The train will arrive at destination Murkongselek station at 13:35 hours w.e.f. 01.02.2023; thus saving its journey time by 10 minutes. Timing of train No. 15604 (Ledo – Guwahati Intercity Express) has been revised at Guwahati station w.e.f. 01.02.2023. The train will arrive at destination Guwahati at 04:50 hours to save its journey time by 10 minutes.
Further, timing of train No. 15960 (Dibrugarh – Howrah) Kamrup Express has been revised at Mariani Jn. w.e.f. 01.02.2023 and timing of train No. 15962 (Dibrugarh – Howrah) Kamrup Express has been revised at Rangapara North, Udalguri and Tangla stations w.e.f. 02.02.2023.
It is expected that the revised timings will help in better train operations over N.F. Railway. Passengers are requested to verify the details of train running status and schedule on real time basis at National Train Enquiry System (NTES) before undertaking their journey.
