Shillong, July 21: The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma said that in order to give justice to the job seeker in the state the cabinet has brought the amendment to the District Selection Committee, Rules with this amendment it will speed up the process of conducting the and declaring the result.
The Chief Minister also said that all line department should inform to the DSC about the vacant post so that the DSC will advertise accordingly as required, so that the process of extending the time will not happen in the future.
The cabinet today also approves the service rule of the Water Resources department for the services of the three post, the Chief Engineer, Superintending Engineer, Executive Engineer, Sub Divisional Officer and senior officer.
The cabinet also today approve the services of the seventeen employees in the Greater Shillong water supply scheme out of which one has expired, this regularization of the employees come from the agreement that was sign between the government and the Hima of Mawphlang in 1978.
The Chief Minister inform that according to this agreement post of Grade IV and garde III and Khalasi should be appointed from the residence of the Hima Mawphlang, this people has served for so long so their services need to regularizes.
