Shillong, May 09: The Transport Department, Government of Meghalaya has issued a Notification wherein all heavy trucks plying through a weak wooden bridge on the 87th km of Jadi village of the road is strictly allowed with a permissible gross weight upto 9 mt tones only in order to avoid collapsing of the bridge located at the village. The Notification shall take effect immediately from the date of issue.
