Shillong May 28: The two members of the Khasi Students Union (KSU) Mr. Ferdynald Kharkamni of North Khasi Hills District Unit and Mr. Son Nongkhlaw from Central Body of KSU who were arrested by the police yesterday for their alleged involvement in arsons at Ronghana Village in Ri Bhoi District damaging Railway properties were book under the Meghalaya Maintenance Public order Act 2010.
The Superintendent of Police Ri Bhoi District Mr Ramesh Singh told SP News Agency that “Yes a case was register against them, they were book under Meghalaya Maintenance Public Order Act 2010”. On the law and order situation were under closed watch.
