Shillong, February 15: Today in the afternoon, a landslide occurred in a stone quarry at Lamlyer near Mawlyngngad in East Khasi Hills District wherein two persons, namely Mr Edwin Kharbihkhiew 42 years and Mr Pynbhalang Kharsohnoh 35 years were buried alive in the landslide.
The police said that after necessary formalities were observed and the cadavers were shifted to CH Shillong for PM examination. The police is investigating to fine out the cause of the landslide.
