Shillong, Oct 5: Meghalaya police informed that Umiam Police Station in Ri-Bhoi District has been temporarily closed after ofñicial of the Police Station tested positive for COVID-19. Police Oficials of the Police Station have been placed under medical observation and at present all oficial works of the Police Station have been shifed to Umroi Police Investigation Centre.
The Police Station is being disinfected as per protocols and ono the establishment has been declared fit Sor re-occupation, the Police Station will then be opened for official works.
The general public residing within the jurisdiction of the Police Station are hereby requested to kindly approach Umroi Police Investigation Centre for any urgent requirement or assistance.
