Shillong, October 03: The office of the superintendent of police East Khasi Hills District, asked that all applicants who have applied for Tatkaal Passport and whose Passport Book was issued by the Office of the Regional Passport Officer(RPO), should report to this Office along with the acknowledgement letter duly issued by the Passport Seva Kendra(PSK), Shillong for the Post- Police Verification.
If Post Verification is not carried out there is a possibility of their Passport issued being cancelled. Moreover, all the applicants who have applied for Normal Passport should also report to this office for Pre- Police Verification and if police verification is not carried out this office will not be in a position to clear for verification.
