Shillong, October 01: The Society Organized Felicitation programme on 1st October 2016 where 151 field workers of Shillong Municipal Board and Shillong Cantonment Board were felicitated under the caption ‘The novel service award’ 2016 in recognition of their sincere and dedicated novel services rendered by them towards the welfare of general public.
All the awardees were presented with certificates, citations, gift hampers and house hold materials as a token of love, honor and inspiration for their dedication in novel service.
The winners of ‘The novel service award’ theories 2016 for successfully monitoring and implementing civic sanitation and hygienic organization won by the office of Shillong Municipal Board and Shillong Cantonment Board.
The chief guest of the function Mr Sanbor Shullai-MLA, cum President of the society lauded the effort placed by the members of the above organizations and encouraged them to march forward in their endeavoring works for the welfare of the people at large. He further announced to provide all awardees with fixed deposits social service scheme in order to support their future livelihood.
Those who attended the function are the representatives of various NGO’s, leaders and elders of various localities of 19thSouth Shillong Constituency.
