Shillong, April 08: Bharat ke veer ultra marathon runner Mr Samir Singh started running on 01st Dec 2017 from Wagha with aim to create awareness and to support to the Martyrs, an initiative of Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.
He has already crossed various bordering states that is Punjab,Rajasthan Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra, Odisha, West Bengal.
Sh U K Nayal, DIG / PRO of BSF Meghalaya Frontier received to the runner of Ultra Marathon at Guwahati of Assam Meghalya Border today 08thApril 2018 at about 1000 hrs and coordinated his event further. he will reach at Shillong on 09th April 2018 at morning time, where he will pay homage to the martyrs at Saheed Smarak at BSF campus Umpling.
The event will be coordinated at Shillong by BSF Frontier HQ, Meghalaya. In Shillong, IG BSF Meghalaya will be welcomed at Saheed Smarak near Gate No.1 BSF Campus, Umpling.
