Shillong, August 11: A month long 43rd Annual Cultural Competition organised by Ram Krishna Mission, Shillong in which all the premier schools and colleges of Shillong participated,
Oushinar Dastidaar of Class XII from BSF School bagged the first Prize in English Elocution Contest and Md Enzamul E. Barbhuyan & Meshuwa K. Mawthoh of Class XII secured 2nd runners up after a close/neck to neck and well fought Quiz Contest.
It is worth mentioning that BSF School in Shillong is well known for its exemplary results in academics and in above competition the school participated in these two competitions only and bagged Prizes in both the events.
Sri P S Dkhar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District who was the Chief Guest of the ceremony gave away the prizes and appreciated the performances of the participants. Shri P K Dubey, Inspector General BSF Meghalaya Frontier also praised/appreciated the performance of participants from BSF Senior Secondary School.
