Indian Railway extent Cancellation of all regular train Services in the wake of COVID-19

Mailgoan, May 14: In continuation of the measures taken in the wake of COVID-19, it has been further decided that all regular passenger train services on Indian Railways including Premium trains, Mail Express trains, Passenger trains services, Narrow gauge trains etc will remain cancelled until further advice.

Accordingly, all passenger carrying trains coming towards N.F. Railway and originating from N.F. Railway will also remain cancelled.

It has been decided that all tickets booked for the above trains for the period upto 30th June, 2020 will be cancelled and full refund will be given to passenger.

For PRS counter generated tickets, refund across counters can be taken upto 6(six) months from the date of journey. For E-tickets refund will be made automatically.

Running of Shramik Special trains which started with effect 1st May and Passenger Special trains which started from 12th May for movement of the stranded people will however continue.

Moreover, to ensure un-interrupted supplies of the essential commodities both for common people and various industries spreading throughout the country, movement of freight and parcel carrying trains will continue.
