Meghalaya Chief Minister sought advice from Manipur Governor to promote tourism

Shillong, April 08: The Meghalaya Chief Minister Mr Conrad K. Sangma called on Governor of Manipur Najma Heptulla and Manipur Chief Minister N. Biren Singh late last night.

This was a courtesy call, wherein Meghalaya Chief Minister invited Governor of Manipur to Meghalaya and sought her advice and guidance on promotion of tourism, entrepreneurship and empowerment of women.

In the meeting the Governor Smti Najma Heptullaalso fondly recalled her association with late Purno Agitok Sangma.

The Meghalaya Chief Minister Mr Conrad K Sangma along with the  Chief Minister of Manipur, discussed on common issues and agendas to take Northeast forward in the development process.
