Shillong, May 09: The Government of Assam has inform the Government of Meghalaya that a post graduate student of Guwahati Medical College has been tested positive for COVID-19 on 07th May 2020 and another COVID-19 death has been reported from Dr B.Borooah Cancer Institute of Guwahati on the same day.
The Deputy Chief Minister Mr Prestone Tynsong today said that if anybody from Meghalaya who has visited Guwahati Medical College and Dr B.Borooah Cancer Institute for treatment and others purposed for the last 14 days that is from 23th April 2020 is requested to register with 108 helpline.
All such person are also requested to under strict home quarantine along with their families member for the next 14 days. The health and family welfare department, District surveillance officer will get in touched with all who register with the 108 helpline.
