Shillong, September 26: Shillong Lajong FC displayed a good attacking football and registered a 5-0 win over Wahingdoh FC in a Shillong Premier League match held at the JN Stadium Shillong on Tuesday.
Hardy Cliff Nongbri broke the deadlock with a stunning goal from the right side of the box in the 44th minute of the match.
Samuel Kynshi then put the ball past the Wahingdoh keeper in the 47th minute to make it 2-0 for the Reds.
Meanwhile, Alen Deory who came on as a substitute converted from inside the box in the 59th minute and took the lead to 3-0.
Shillong Lajong youngsters were dominant throughout the match, enjoyed more of the ball possession and also had better chances in front of goal today.
Hardy Cliff Nongbri scored his second goal and Lajong’s fourth in the 65th minute.Alen Deory also added his second goal in today’s game in the 81st minute and took Lajong’s scoreline to a 5-0 margin.
