Shillong, April 21: The Meghalya State Development Reforms Commission had a comprehensive meeting on the 20th April, 2017 at round 11:30 A.m at District Resouces Centre, Baghmara to review the status of implementation of schemes and programmes undertaken by various department in the district.
The meeting was headed by Shri. Sengman R. Marak , Co-Chairman and Ex MLA along with Shri. Saleng A. Sangma MLA & Co-Chairman, SDRC, Shri. S. P. Thapa, Co-Chairman, SDRC in the presence of Shri F.M Dopth, MCS, Member Secretary, SDRC and Shri Vijay Raj, Vice- Chairman, SDRC, The Additional Deputy Commissioner and D.C in-charge of South Garo Hills, Block Development Officers, and heads of around 13 departments in South Garo Hills District were present in the meeting.
Budget provisions of the previous and current financial years, activities taken up, constraints and problems faced, relevant Acts and Rules followed by various departments, and strategies to improve delivery mechanisms of all district offices for effective implementation of all Centrally Sponsored Schemes and State Sponsored Schemes were comprehensively discussed during the m
