Shillong, September 24: The UDP West Garo Hills District under the aegis of the Coordination Committee, Garo Hills Sector organized an interactive meeting at Tura recently with the selected citizens of Tura from amongst social leaders, religious elders, businessmen and youths in the presence of Party President Dr. Donkupar Roy and Vice President Mr. Allantry Franklin Dkhar.
In the interactive meeting the party candidate Mr. Utpal Arengh, Mr. Pallabh Areng and committee members Mr Utjol Sangma, Mr Lindin Momin were also present. In the Meeting they had thorough deliberations on various issues plaguing the state.
The president of the party Dr. Donkupar Roy after hearing the views from alls made a summation, that the state needs a corruption free and transparent government to deliver good governance, which is in sync with the Party’s ideals, to which the response was unanimous.
