The NGEA decided to demand CBI inquiry on the financial irregularities in GHADC

Shillong, August 22: The Non-Gazetted Employees Association of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) today decided to hold silence rally on the 28th of this month to put pressure on the GHADC to pay their salary that was not paid for the last eleven month.

The Employees of the GHADC decided to start their agitation with the sit-in demonstration on the 28th of this month and on this day they will demand for the CBI inquiry behind  the financial irregularities in the GHADC, thought the there is a huge revenue collection by the GHADC.

The meeting also decided to go for silence procession if the Concern authority fails to respond to the association demand. At the mean time the association decided to file contempt of court. The meeting today was chair by the president Mr Toesik Itseng S Sangma.
