A cyclonic circulation lies over northeast Assam at 1.5 km above mean sea level,. under the influence of the above synoptic condtions and moisture incursion from the Bay of Bengal to northeastern region due to winds in the lower lever.
Heavy rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning and gusty wind with wind speed of 30 to 40 Kmph is likely to occur on 31st March and 1st April 2024 on isolated places , thunderstorm and lightning is likely to occur on during period of 31st March- 4 April at isolated places over Meghalaya.
