Shillong, Sept 28: The Jaintia Students’ Union (JSU) expresses serious concerns regarding the recent declaration of results for the Staff Nurse and ANM examinations, published on September 27, 2024, at www.meghealth.gov.in.
They believe that the current practice of announcing only the roll numbers of qualified candidates, without disclosing their individual scores, compromises transparency and fairness.
The lack of individual scores denies applicants the clarity and justice they deserve after their diligent preparation. Furthermore, we have identified discrepancies in the results, including instances where the same roll number appears multiple times. Such irregularities significantly undermine the credibility of the examination process.
In light of these issues, the Union has urgently urged the Honorable Minister of Health to take corrective action. We request that the results be reissued to include both roll numbers and the marks obtained by each candidate.
This measure would not only enhance transparency but also restore faith in the examination system. They appreciate the Minister’s prompt engagement with the JSU, during which she expressed her unawareness of the publication and acknowledged our demands.
She has directed her officers to ensure that the marks obtained by qualified candidates, along with the answer keys, are published. The JSU await swift action and clear communication on this matter to ensure fairness and justice for all applicants.
