Shillong, July 30: The Overseas Nursing Job Fair is conducted by the Government of Meghalaya, Health and Family Welfare Department. The aim of the job fair is to open doors for the nursing professionals especially the unemployed nurses from our State enabling them to explore international career opportunities and showcase their skills on a global platform.
The Government will collaborate with agencies like NAVIS HR Pvt. Ltd, NURSEDGE and Trained Nurses Association of India (TNAI) New Delhi who will channelize the opportunities for the candidates to work abroad in countries like Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, UAE, etc.
They will also provide support in terms of accommodation during training in India, conditional job offer, Visa process, up-skilling system and language training for 6 (six) months, etc.
The orientation programme for the Overseas Nursing Job Fair is scheduled for 4th August, 2023 at State Convention Centre Chief Minister will be the Chief Guest for the occasion and the Minister Incharge, Health and Family Welfare Department will be the Guest of Honour.
