Shillong, August 22: Air Marshal C Hari Kumar AVSM VM VSM, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Air Command, in his address, expressed his satisfaction on the operational preparedness and the Aerospace safety record of all Operational Units under EAC. He congratulated the Commanders on their sterling performance in all the areas of responsibilities and exhorted them to continue to strive for excellence in all spheres of Operations, Maintenance and Administration.
During the Conference, the AOC-in-C awarded Trophies to the Commanders for achieving excellence in the fields of Operations, Maintenance and Administration. Air Force Station Tejpur was awarded the ‘Best Flying Station’ and Pride of ‘EAC’ Trophy, for standing first in the order of merit for overall performance, and Air Force Station Dinjan was awarded the ‘Best Non Flying Station’.
