Shillong, September 12: A Guwahati bound night super passenger bus (AS01FC – 0445) from Silchar skidded on a turning and overturned after it hit the highway guardrail at Umling under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District.
The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Byrnihat and Nongpoh helped in shifting Sarosh Islam 18years,male, Rajiv Watson 30years,male, Rajit Shakmak 24years,male and Udaoi Mandal 58years,male all of them have been taken to Nongpoh Civil Hospital.
One Sarosh Islam had fractured his right hand and who was in a critical condition was shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital from Nongpoh. Some other passenger had suffered minor injuries were administered first aid on the scene by the 108 paramedics. The incident happened on the 12th of September, 2016 at 3:13 A.M.
