Shillong, March 10: The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority has organised the National Lok Adalat on the 9th of March, 2024 in all the districts of the State of Meghalaya, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
In the National Lok Adalat, 1347 Pre-Litigation cases and 371 pending cases were taken up for settlement, the total number of cases taken up was1718, of which 340 cases were settled.
In term of money it has come to the amount of `1,64,70,567/-Rupees One crore sixty four lakhs seventy thousand five hundred and sixty seven) only. This was in form by E. Kharumnuid Member Secretary Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority.
