Shillong,July 02:The office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories organized Awareness programme recently at Mylliem Madan Ingsyiem in order to create awareness about health and safety measures to be observed and practiced at the industrial workplace.
Senior Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Mr.B Chyne and Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Mr. P L Nongbet delivered lectures on rules, procedures and the Occupational safety and Health (OSH) hazards common at the workplace.
The function was attended by various stakeholders from different industrial units like stone crushers including entrepreneurs and students. Various competitions such as drawing, slogan and extempore speech were held and prizes were awarded to the winners.(SP News)
