Shillong, May 09: The band outfit the HNLC today received a big jolt when a senior major of the militant outfit Mr Combart Syad 36 years surrender himself before the Superintendent of East Khasi Hills District Mr Davis NR Marak.
This HNLC cadre who surrendered before the police today did not bring any arms and ammunition, Mr Syad joint the HNLC in the year 1996 a resident of Sonatila, of Patharkandi Karimganj of Assam.
