BSF will inquire on the poising case in Tura were 124 jawans taken ill

Tura, April 21: The Border Security Force (BSF) will inquired on the alleged poisoning incident in Tura were 124 Jawans personal taken ill, where they were treated at Tura Civil Hospital and Mission Hopsital Tura.

The Deputy Commissioner West Garo Hills Parvin Bakshi said that he received the information about the incident, that it was having breakfast in the morning after the breakfast the Jawans started complaining that they were not well.

At around 9 am they started vomiting and others show sign of diarrhea, they were taken to Tura Civil Hospital, from these 124 jawans 83 were shifted to  Mission Hospital for treatment  and the rest at Tura Civil Hosiptal.

These BSF personal were posted at Mankachar border and belonging to the Assam frontier. However, their camp was at Praharinagar, Tura.(SP News)
